My name is Ren Brown, and I am an Acupuncture Assistant at Medical Acupuncture. I am passionate about helping people improve their health and quality of life through compassionate care and holistic medicine. I enjoy supporting patients throughout their treatment experience and helping create an environment where they feel welcomed, comfortable, and cared for.
I earned my Master of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine and Bachelor of Science in Professional Health Sciences from the Florida College of Integrative Medicine. My education and clinical training introduced me to a wide range of health conditions and strengthened my interest in chronic pain, mental and emotional health, digestive disorders, and holistic healing.
My journey into acupuncture began after a car accident left me with chronic back pain. When conventional treatments offered little relief and surgery seemed like the only option, acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine changed the course of my recovery. That experience inspired me to explore traditional East Asian medicine more deeply, ultimately led me to pursue a career in the field, and continues to remind me that healing is possible, even when patients feel they have run out of options.
Outside the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my wife and children, gardening, fishing, hiking, camping, making music, and exploring Florida’s natural beauty. Growing up on Florida’s Treasure Coast gave me a lifelong appreciation for nature and herbal medicine, which continues to shape my belief that caring for the whole person is an important part of lasting health.
