I had one treatment a while back and a pain that had been bothering me 10 years was suddenly gone. She is so caring and knowledgeable. We had been friends for years and I finally went in to see her practice and I was so taken back by how amazing the experience was. FRIESIAN LIFE30 June 2026I am beyond excited how well I feel. I have plantar fasciitis for two years!! I am an equestrian so I am active and on my feet a lot. I have tried all kinds of supportive insoles for my shoes and bought many expensive shoes. They are helpful but just not getting me through my active days at the barn. Then I found on facebook Medical Acupuncture ad. This is it my last hope to avoid surgery. I went for my initial exam and just that one visit I felt a difference. Then after my 1st session I did m followed instructions no exercise for 48 hours. By end of week I felt so good. My burning n pain in both feet was very mild. I cannot wait for more session. I have a family trip in October that I want be able to go hiking. So worth trying especially if surgery would be your next option.Posted on Google
Tracey Warr10 June 2026I am dealing with kidney disease and high blood pressure. I was advised to try acupuncture and then I saw an ad on facebook. I decided to try to help lower my pressure. Over the few weeks, my systolic number normalized completely quickly but there was challenge lowering my diastolic number. My bottom number was in the hundreds. By the end of my first session my diastolic number is now less than 90. It’s not here yet but it improved so much. I am so happy. The staff here is super friendly. The place is super clean. euphemia t27 May 2026An injury from a torn meniscus in my left knee didn’t heal properly, and left me with a very stiff, almost peg leg. To complicate matters, I need knee replacements, and my surgeon wants me to get as much movement in my knee as possible before he will operate. Physical therapy not only didn’t help, but seemed counter-productive. I did some research, and found Medical Acupuncture. Through a combination of acupuncture and shock wave therapy to break up scar tissue, I have gone from 0 degree knee movement to over 45 degrees. My surgeon was amazed at the progress. Quote: “When I think of how little movement you had, this is incredible. Now I want 90 degrees.” So I’m in for another round. Hiroko is both a professional business owner, and a compassionate healer. She will sit down with you, listen carefully to your medical issues, and work with you to devise a plan. She takes great care in hiring other medical specialists, each one of whom is a wonderful combination of skilled excellence and empathetic care. Michael Wilson21 May 2026I had a visit today at medical acupuncture, and had laser therapy on my feet that I've been suffering with peripheral neuropathy for over 10 years. During my visit my technician use the laser on My feet and it felt like an electrical current waking up the nerves going through my feet and up my legs waking them up and causing blood flow for the nerves. Now I can't wait for the next visit to have it done again because I see the benefit a laser therapy. The acupuncture treatment they are fantastic also a highly recommend them .Posted on Google

Before coming to medical acupuncture, I was unable to open my jaw all the way, eat any kind of hard or chewy foods, yawn without holding back, and even sleeping was an issue because of how tense my jaw was. I am happy to say that now I can do all of those things again without pain or discomfort! My treatments have included acupuncture, shockwave and laser appointments for the last three months, all under an incredible team of women. Hiroko is a wealth of knowledge in her field and constantly adjusts treatment to make sure you’re getting the best care possible. It was after the 5th session when I had the longest relief of pain. I had 5 days with only an occasional twinge of discomfort which is far better than before treatment. Natie21 November 2025I found Medical Acupuncture through Facebook. I was so impressed my first visit. The staff was very friendly and greeted me upon my arrival. The first visit was all about getting to know my concerns and what goals I wanted to achieve. It is such a relaxing and welcoming environment that you truly feel at peace with each visit. If you are afraid of needles, don't be. The first week of treatment is to see how your body responds. You need to be open minded and calm when you receive these treatments. The mind is a very powerful tool to heal your body. After about two weeks into treatment I felt different already. I was more relaxed, started sleeping better and my muscle aches went away. This is my experience and if you are thinking about trying acupuncture as form of healing, I would highly recommend this office. Sadie Muley12 November 2025Medical Acupuncture has been a Godsend to me. I went to them because of pains I have had in my neck for years due to scar tissue. Their shock therapy treatment confirmed this was my issue. I was diagnosed with an aneurysm last Oct. and just had my annual follow up MRA 2 weeks ago and the aneurysm is gone! There is no other explanation for it except the shock therapy treatment breaking up the scar tissue. The area where my aneurysm was at was in the soft tissue and was made up of collagen which is what scar tissue is made of. I overproduce collagen and so it all made sense. I hope to address other areas of concern with scar tissue soon through the shock therapy. I would highly recommend Medical Acupuncture to anyone dealing with unresolved and misdiagnosed pain.Posted on Google

I was told the process would be slow and painful, and the horror stories were never ending. However, I believed that with enough hard work from my part and the right treatment team on my side I would see improvement. Needless to say, my recovery has been expedited by receiving Acupunture, Hiroko AP has listened to every one of my concerns and has address them efficiently. Andrea Ruff23 July 2025I’ve struggled with frequent asthma attacks this year, ending up in the ER five times. Steroids helped temporarily, but I knew they weren’t a long-term solution. That’s when I turned to acupuncture, and honestly, it saved my life. Since starting treatment with Hiroko, my asthma has virtually disappeared. I’m breathing normally again. No more masks to clean my house, no more panic around candles or strong perfumes; things that used to trigger terrifying attacks. I was trying anything that would bring even a little relief. After the first treatment, my pain did not disappear, but subsided significantly. After 3 treatments, I had zero pain. None. Nada. Miraculous in my mind. I continued with acupuncture for more sessions to maximize the healing but had no pain and full function after the initial three treatments. After many months of physical therapy that left me unable to fully recover from the inflammation, pain and tightness in my back and unable to perform daily activities, I decided to try acupuncture therapy. Arlene Walton1 September 2023I was at primary care physician's office after lab work and was told that I needed to go on Metformin. I asked why my A1C is a 6 why take this medication. The response from the attending was oh the doctor puts everyone at this age on this med to prevent your pancreas from overworking. I advice I didnt want to take it her response was this will be what the doctor will want. I started this medicine and it made me nauseous and made my stomach acid burn and to it did not lower the A1C it still remain a 6. I started to think their must be a more natural way to prevent and overworking the organ and keeping my sugar in check. I neglected to mention that if I ate anything that had some form a sugar it made me jittery. I went on a trip to Puerto Rico to help my cousin's post op recovery from open heart surgery and ran out of Metformin. I watched what I ate and felt good, however in the back of my mind I kept thinking what can I do to help prevent any reason to take this medicine. I asked Hiroko who listen to everything I said. She evaluated me and treated me with Herbs a natural medicine to help your body rid of sugar excess and give the organ a wake up call to do its job. I have to say first the Herb you take 3 times a day after meals and with water. I am no longer spiking with sugar jitters which I got from the Metformin and I don't get nauseous. This is all natural with no side effects. I have to say that the Herbs are tasty too. When you are listen to and when you are part of the choice and when you make efforts to help yourself you are rewarded. Sherry Albert5 March 2022I saw TikTok videos that Hiroko made. I could sense the passion she had for helping others. I tracked her down on the internet and low and behold she was in my state. I drove 2 hrs for my 1st appt. I am also in the medical field and perform Thermography scans on my patients. So when I scanned my own body I could see all the areas of inflammation and places needing help. My problem is that I did not know of a doctor that I felt comfortable with and that would actually "Listen to me" and believe my health issues. My body was in severe pain from previous operations on my neck, knees, and back. I also have Lyme disease and Epstein Barr. So life for me is constant pain all over my body. Hiroko was compassionate and understanding. She explained her services and gave me a tour of the office so I would feel comfortable. She explained the plan she had to heal me and gave me a appx. time frame to heal my body. When I arrived my pain level was definitely a 12, unfortunately, I have become used to the pain. When I left, I could not believe that my pain level was at appx. a level of 2 or 3. My friends say, I am always wound pretty tight and can hardly relax. Hiroko relaxed me to the point that I fell in and out of sleep on the table while she was putting the acupuncture needle in place. I have 3 more sessions booked. I cannot wait for my next visit next week. I feel so much better already. I have full confidence that Hiroko will bring my health back to balance in no time. Although no one hugged me, I felt like I was in a warm in brace the entire time I was in the office. The initial visit was so thorough and thoughtful. The treatment was fantastic. I truly feel like this was a medical acupuncture visit and not a acupuncture/spa visit which I have experienced so frequently in the past. Hiroko was exceptional at putting me at ease as she thoroughly explained every aspect of the procedure before she began. It was not unpleasant in any way. I was very relaxed and hopeful that this is going to really resolve the recent injury I incurred in my lower back. It is a process just as physical therapy takes many sessions to have lasting results, but I left after the first session in less pain than when I arrived and continue to feel better this evening. I would highly recommend acupuncture and if needed, Hiroko is the perfect person for the treatment. The office was very clean and comfortable. After the acupuncture Dr. Shimoda asked me to lie there while she left the room. While lying on the bed I began to relax and become very calm. While lying there my calmness began to bring beautiful thoughts of my birth family and then my own family. Finally went this week and was a beautiful experience. She took me in went all over my history and then started to do my initial work up. Didn’t even feel the needles by the time she finish I left that office with minimal pain and able to raise my right arm. Looking forward to going for my next treatment. After being sick for a period of time, I started jogging again and noticed that not even at a quarter mile my feet would get tingly and eventually will go numb. I would have to stop stretching rub them before continuing. Without answers I turnt to acupuncture. This team is so knowledgeable and caring, after a few treatments, I am now jogging just about 2 miles before I start experiencing any symptoms. They are all so accommodating and helpful. Instead of poking me with needles on various parts of my body and walking out of the room, Alex took the time to really get a sense of my ailments on my initial visit. He listened closely and asked the right questions, felt my muscles for sensitivity and tried different techniques from what I’d experienced before. И тут я обнаружила Medical Accupuncture и самое интересное что один из их сотрудников говорит по русски я была удивлена и безумно рада. Записатся на прием было очень легко персонал очень вежливый, дружелюбный и отзывчивый. Каждый твой визит начинается в то время которое тебе назначено и самое главное они распределяют время так с каждым клиентом чтобы другому не приходилось ждать. На первом моем приеме Алексей внимательно выслушал все мои проблемы над которыми надо работь. Он не перебивал и дал столько времени сколько тебе надо для того чтобы понять суть твоей проблемы и спланировать лечение. Каждый мой прием он мне обьясняет каждый момент который он принимает в моем лечении и после каждого визита я чувствую улучшения. Моему папе 70 лет и у него болела спина и ноги и вы не поверите после первого визита с Алексеем у него прошла боль в спине мы были очень рады что мы нашли такое замечательное место. И самое главное скажу Алексей это "ходячая медицинская энциклопедия" он такой начитаный и знающий каждую точку в теле человека и его органы.
