My name is Soojung Park. Most people call me Soo. I am an acupuncture physician at Medical Acupuncture, where I help patients improve their quality of life through acupuncture and holistic care. I have a special interest in pain management and treating neurological conditions, and I enjoy working with patients to find practical solutions that support healing and better daily function.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Central Florida and later completed both a Bachelor of Science in Professional Health Studies and a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from the Florida College of Oriental Medicine. My healthcare experience began with volunteering in hospitals during high school and has included working in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and rehabilitation settings, including facilities caring for patients with brain and spinal cord injuries. These experiences strengthened my commitment to helping patients improve comfort, mobility, and overall well-being.
I was born in Seoul, South Korea and moved to the United States when I was eleven years old. Over the years I have lived in Massachusetts, Michigan, and Connecticut, and I have called Orlando, Florida home since 2000.
Outside the clinic, my family is my top priority. I enjoy watching my kids play lacrosse, volunteering with my daughters at the SPCA, and spending time with our guinea pigs, Nugget and Biscuit. I also enjoy crafting and consider myself a natural problem solver who enjoys helping patients navigate their health challenges with thoughtful and practical solutions.
